Feds Set Aside $2 Million For Murfreesboro Wetlands Parks

January 4, 2000, WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Bart Gordon has secured another $2 million appropriation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ wetlands preservation project in Murfreesboro, bringing total federal funding for the plan to $4.9 million.

Tri-County Electric Receives $8 Million Loan Guarantee

January 14, 2000, WASHINGTON, D.C. – An $8 million loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Agriculture will fund nearly half of Tri-County Electric Membership Corp.’s ambitious four-year plan, which includes building an additional 381 miles of power lines, U.S. Rep. Bart Gordon said.
